The Diploma in general nursing and midwifery provides a broad and comprehensive grounding in scientific nursing techniques and practical geound level training.It also requires an aptitude to care of sick , soft skills and an inituastive understanding of the healing process.
Candidates who want to opt for this course must meet the following eligibility criteria.
- Marital Status: Unmarried /Married
- Gender: Female only
- Age: 17 – 35 years
- Language – Fluency in Hindi/English both
Entrance Criteria :-
- Seats : 40 seats annually
- Merit : Selection will be donre on the basis of merit only . This includes marks obtained in Xth (Higher Secondary) and XIIth (Senior Secondary) examination CBSE/other state board.
- Marks: Minimum 50% aggregate in the Sr. secondary examination.
- Students from all streams are welcome . Preference will be assigned to the candidates from science stream.
- Reservation: According to the BNRC regulation , 50 % seats are reserved for candidates domiciled in Bihar(*if seats are not filled than transferred to open category). The remaining seats are open to all candidates across the country.

Attendance:- Student have to come classes regularly as per their academic calender. For taking leave , student have to inform the institutre in advance have to provide leave application signed by the respective guardian at home.
